Went crazy beads shopping over the weekend

The last weekend I really burnt my pockets........... Don't ask me what was my damage. I went crazy shopping for beads and everything related to my hobby. I practically wanted to buy everything from the shop :) How I wish it was my grandfather or "me" (even better) own those shops. I just can't help it and felt like I need to get everything from the beautiful resin flowers, charms, crystals and pearls :) As soon as I got home I took them out admire them again and then put them back and the next day when I was in my own shop (my bedroom and workspace) I took them out admire them again and put them away in their appropriate families :) I can't wait to use them to make beautiful accessories and my head is bursting with ideas on how to use them. I am so happy as I received a response from my teacher in my blog. My teacher is Mastura and her blog is whimsicalnquirky.blogspot.com/. My 1st introduction to wire beading is thru her. She was so patient with all of us. She is also very thoughtful that she gave her students a starter kit that comprises of a A4 size folder to put our tutorial which she printed in color and a small beading case to hold our beads. Mas designs were so beautiful and intricate, I think it will take me years and years to be as good as her.

I had so much fun doing the pendants that its like a routine for me to check on them every nite before I went to bed and check on them in the morning before I leave my room ..... I had also created this pendant which I called them 2 face beauty..... yup I found some pendants that has 2 sides to it and created the following beauties :) Luv them

Matryoshka doll pendants_I like :)

Hi, its the 2nd day of New Year and I am busy taking pictures of my cute cute Matryoshka doll pendants :) Can't wait to show them off....... I had so much fun doing them and I hope you will like it too. The pendants are so versatile you can wear it with a chain, make them into bookmarks and keyrings.

How would I summed up my year???? Let me see, overall I had a good but very busy year. I got myself a job, moved house and made a fair bit of money from sale. I took a few days off towards the end of 2012 to bond with my family and at the same time managed to create some new designs for my accessories. I will upload them on my blog once its ready. I really love my hobby and I have not been able to stop thinking of how to recreate new pieces everyday.
