Contango, The Majestic Hotel Part 2

Hi I have not finish babbling about Contango. So this is the part 2 that I will talk about the desserts my favorite food of all time :) I really loves their selection of desserts and yes I still can't shake of the macaroons that I had...... the taste still lingers in my brain, OMG :? So as of now I will name that "macaroons to die for" :) The flavors that were available on that day which I have tested all of it even though my stomach was so full....... and I meant it :( I was so full that I could not swallow another sip of water but I can consume the macaroons...... Oh sorry, I got carried away again, yes the flavors were lime, orange, vanilla and raspberry. I had 3 orange ms and 1 each of the rest. The next dessert that I want to blab about is the selections of ice cream...... unlike other buffet places that I have been that served ice cream from Kings, Nestle and etc..... Here they served sorbet like Lecka Lecka. OMG, it was so delicious...... I tried coconut, pistachio, lime, pineapple and mango. My family members tried durian and they said its wonderful Next, the chocolate lava cake, the chocolate muffins, brownies, cream caramel........ Ok, here to tantalize your taste bud, I have uploaded the pixs, enjoy :)

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to my mom, myself and of course all the mothers in the world. We went out for buffet lunch at the Contango Restaurant at the newly opened Majestic Hotel today. Yup, its not mother's day yet but we save RM30++ per person and yes we don't get the pot of orchid because its not Mothers' Day yet. We heard about the restaurant last week when we watched Ho Chak on NTV7 and did not hesitate to call them to make the reservation. However, after making the reservation my husband did a search on the net and found some negative remarks on the buffet but nevertheless we went ahead. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and I just love their desserts and especially the macaroons which I ate 6 and I felt like I wanna more if not for my stomach which was so full. Let me brag a bit about desserts coz that's my favorite food. I had the 6 wonderful macaroons i.e. 3 oranges, 1 vanilla, 1 raspberry and 1 lime. OMG, it was so nice. I remembered the last time when I was in Sydney my bro bought some macaroons back from the world famous macaroons maker in Sydney. There were beautiful and after that I have not had such nice macaroons since Contago. Apart from that I had 5 scoope of ice creams flavors, coconut, lime, pineapple, mango and pistachio. There were not like the normal ice cream that was served in other places that I have been to for buffet. This is like what is get from Lecka-Lecka. We were given a survey form towards the end of our meal and besides some small issues i.e. parking and no name tags on the food we were happy with our overall experience. Here is the look of the restaurant and our table setting. Everything looks new and beautiful. Even the crockery looks expensive :)

Hi I am back in May 2013

I have just job, yes again.......and have been busy. Starting new is not an easy thing to do.... and after 2 months in my new job things start to stabilise. However, that did not stop me from beading. I have made a few things during this period of time and will upload the pixs when I am free :) Lots of chunky bracelets :)
