Tree of Life Necklace

I made the necklace using nylon or faux suede cords and that way the wearer can adjust the necklace to their desire length :)

Tree of Life Pendants

According to Wikipedia.com, the concept of Tree of Life has been used in science, religion, philosophy, mythology, and other areas and the meaning associated with it differs in different contexts. Mythologies, theologies and philosophies use the Tree of Life as a motif whereas others use it as a reference to evolution, life or creation. In folklore, culture and fiction, the Tree of Life is often associated with immortality or fertility. The symbol of the Tree of Life represents different qualities and virtues such as wisdom, strength, protection, beauty, bounty and redemption and sometimes as a symbol of the “Creator” which provides protection, supports abundant fruit production and thereby, regeneration. This analogy can also be used to describe the life of humans where humans develop 'roots' of beliefs, 'branch out' by means of wisdom and the 'trunk' (mind & body) keeps them connected. The Tree of Life meaning as perceived in different faiths, belief systems and cultures, resonates with a simple and strong message of unity. This symbol indicates that all forms of life are connected through a cosmic energy and that humans should live in harmony with rest of the living beings. As the interpretation of the Tree of Life is so diversified and profound, I too have infused such ideas or concepts into my pendant making where various types and colours of gemstones and crystals are mixed and matched to form beautiful and exquisite pendants. Each pendant created has its own uniqueness and exclusivity and no two pieces are of the same, which is my “interpretation” of the Tree of Life.

Lunch @ Paradise Dynasty, Paradigm Mall, PJ

Hi I am back..... I want to write about my experience visiting Paradigm Mall and lunch at Paradise Dynasty. We went to visit the mall on 2 June as my husband and son would like to visit the Toys R Us store to get triple points for purchases. We arrived at around 10.30am and there were still plenty of parking spaces. We noticed that not all shops were open that early. We walked about starting from the Ground Floor. We noticed that there were restaurants on every floors. When my hubby and son went to Toy R Us I went to a Japanese shop nearby. It's like Daisho but not everything is at RM5.00. I also visited a shop that sells very cute bags with picture of puppies and kittens (I cannot remember the name of the shop). The shop is having a promo for buy 1 free 1 of all items. I noticed that the smallest item in the shop i.e. a coin pouch was priced at RM39.90. Well, that's to me is pricey even for buy 1 free 1. Lunch we went to Paradise Dynasty restaurant, after much urging from my hubby who said he read about the writeup in the newspaper. One of the restaurant signature dish is multi color "xiao long pao". Definitely we ordered that dish together with some other dishes like drunken chicken, lai mien, pork ribs and etc. The chinese tea is FOC. Different color of the xiao long pau represent different flavors. However, we still like the original ones. Our overall experience, nice place (tastefully furnished), food is good (my favorite pork bone lai mien and the price - average to high :)
